Please, for the love of the game! PLEASE help me. OH, and YES the controller does work, I used it on an Xbox before I bought it, and it was working perfect.

Windows will see it in device manager, and it has the newest 360 controller driver installed. I have brand new battery and cable on it. The Xbox 360 controller is a certified Microsoft device,its the COD MW3 version. I really hope someone here can help me with this, ive ben trying three days now to get my Xbox Conbtroller to work on my PC, and it just will NOT! Ive searched many forums, ive seen different tips and idea, but nothing works.
